Yoga has been a big part of my life for many years. It’s the safe space I come to for myself, to be present within the body and mind.
I remember attending classes and constantly being in absolute awe of my teachers for how they guided me through my practice. I realised then that I wanted to be able to give that to others.
I love yoga for the fact that your practice can be whatever you need it to be on that day, therefore I offer that same freedom in a students practise when I teach. In a class, I encourage the students to trust. Through my experience, if I am feeling stressed, I know that my practice will ground and centre me. If I’m feeling super energetic, I know that I can challenge myself with the physical side through compassion and trust.
My teacher training journey was an incredible experience, it taught me so much as a person on a personal level but also in my love towards all things yoga. As a hairdresser, wife & now a mum, I get to transfer the teachings of yoga all throughout my life and am forever thankful for it. We are forever learning and evolving ~ mind, body, breath, connection ~ and I feel so grateful to be able to offer a sacred space for others.
