My name is Cassandra, Cass for short! After coming home from some much-needed travel, I walked into my first yoga studio and fell in love with the art of practicing yoga. Growing up I was the kid who was horrible at team sports wait, scratch that, I was horrible at anything competitive. When I found yoga, and realised that the only challenge was the one you set yourself, I instantly fell in love. I used to look at yoga teachers and think, wow this is their job, they get to transform communities as their occupation. I knew I wanted to fall into a job where I could help people but what I didn’t realise was how much sharing the joy of yoga transforms lives. I realised I wanted to teach yoga when I reached a cross road. I had the choice to stay in a 9-5 well paid job that didn’t fulfil anything but my bank account, or to take a chance and do my 200 Hour Teacher Training. The choice was obvious, they say that when you find something you are passionate about you don’t work a day in your life, I can now say that is nothing but the truth. Yoga is what you make it. You can walk into our studio and have a killer workout while finding this incredible peace within that you can carry into the rest of the day. When I teach a class, I teach from my heart; I hold pride in the amount of love, authenticity, effort and passion I give to each class, and I truly hope you feel it when you practice my classes.
