Mayumi discovered yoga almost ten years ago when she was looking for a new workout regime. Soon after starting, she realized there was much more to yoga than just the "calorie burn motive." Through yoga, Mayumi gained deep insights about her own mind and body, which led to ongoing understanding of what was true to her ~ one of those truths being her desire to become a yoga teacher.
Mayumi likes to teach Vinyasa flow, sometimes upbeat and fast paced, and at other times slow and deliberate. She creates a safe, accessible and enjoyable space for you to dedicate time to be with your self, despite our busy day to day lives.
Mayumi's classes starts with optimal time for stretching and breathwork, while incorporating philosophy of yoga. Then she will get you on your feet and get your heart rate racing, always with a focus on the mind-body-breath connection.
To Mayumi, yoga is for everyone and anyone. As a teacher she strives to be down to earth and approachable.
