What about baby? Our philosophy at The Base Yoga is to tailor the classes for MUMS. Generally speaking, we do not incorporate baby play etc, as we try to give YOU, the mum, as much yoga as we can. Your baby will be next to your mat on its blanket. Some days you will be able to practice yoga for the entire hour, and other days your baby will need more of your attention - baby may need to be fed, settled, or re-settled. It is important not to set any expectations on your baby or yourself, and just come along and enjoy the atmosphere. Some classes are very quiet and other times things can get noisy - it's all good, anything goes! |

CLASS INFORMATION
Classes are feeding friendly, crying friendly! Come and share the joys and challenges of motherhood with other new mums.
- No yoga experience is necessary. Our postnatal classes are gentle and safe following the birth of your baby.
- Class duration is 60 minutes. New students to arrive 10-15 minutes early to register. Studio will open 15 minutes prior to class start.
- Suitable from 6 weeks after birth (or 8 weeks after caesarean) until your baby is actively crawling.
- All equipment is supplied, just bring your nappy bag and a blanket for your baby to lie on.
- Nappies are to be taken away with you.
- Pricing as per general classes - you can select from any passes that suit you - NEW STUDENT INTRO OFFER - 21 days for $49!
